After watching Project Runway I have had a strong desire to visit the Getty Museum. They filmed a show there where the designers had to run around, take pictures and find inspiration in something they saw at the museum.
I had no idea how huge it would be. You have to take a tram up the hill.
We thought it was pretty cool that his name was J. Paul Getty since my Paul is a J. Paul.
The views were amazing. It's too bad we couldn't go the day before when the sky was clearer. Even with the haze we could enjoy the view. Can you see the temple?
The architecture is very unique.
The grounds are stunning.
There was a DaVinci exhibit visiting while we were there but absolutely no photos could be taken inside.
We made the mistake of going right at lunch time without eating anything but breakfast a few hours earlier. We totally should have eaten lunch first. We only lasted a couple of hours before we were starving. We left without seeing very many of the buildings. I'm glad we got to see what we did see though. It was pretty impressive.
