St. Patrick's Day 2010

The morning started with green eggs and green milk.
Emma didn't want the eggs but she wanted the green milk.
Once the kids were off to school I started setting things up. I set the table

and took some pictures of the few St. Patrick's Day decorations we have.
This frog seriously cracks me up. I got it at Robert's this year, because it was green. It was so ugly it was almost cute. I was ready to take him back but the kids said to keep it. So I did. I think I will get a chuckle each year when I get him out.
This year we wanted Marius to be part of our family photo but he had other things in mind. This was the best we could do.
So it was just the four of us.

After pictures the kids played with their bubbles while Paul and I prepared dinner.

I bought just about everything they had at the grocery store that was green.

Green rolls.
Nasty green drinks. (The kids loved these)
Green dessert.
More nasty green drinks.
While the chicken was grilling we had Emma take our picture. Andrew surprised me and grabbed me around the waist but Emma cropped him out. I don't really have two left arms.

Then the kids wanted to have a photo shoot of their own.
LOL!
Gangsta!
Finally it was time to eat. The creamy pesto doesn't look very green in this does it?

I had some cake balls left from Valentine's Day (I still have more in my freezer for crying out loud!) so I did some up for St. Patty's Day. I mixed all the different green sprinkles I had for my own holiday mix.
Our green dinner was quite yummy.
We all had a fun night. I told the kids when they get to old for all of this to let me know. They informed me they would never be too old. Good!

Why would they ever be to old for all the cool stuff you do? Looks like so much fun. Great family memories!
