Emma has to make a "Luscious Cell" for science class. She came to me telling me she had to make a cake and that she needed a bunch of candy and a really large jaw-breaker. Luckily I saw the assignment paper and noticed it could be made with any food. Sneaky little thing wanted a sweet cell LOL!
We were having chimichangas for dinner with rice, beans, guacamole, pico de gallo and chips. Perfect!
What's better than a tortilla cell wall, an avocado seed nucleus and a cheese golgi body? We had to sign a paper saying she did the assignment but there was extra credit if they brought in a labeled picture. Here's her extra credit. Doesn't it look luscious?
