I feel sort of silly say TODAY I am thankful for my kids. Obviously I am thankful for them everyday but today I chose to talk about them.
I have really been reflecting on my role as parent lately because the kids are growing up so fast. After Halloween I was actually crying to Paul that our days of class parties and trick-or-treating are almost over. How did that happen? Why are they getting so big? At the same time I love this stage so much. I wouldn't want to go back. I love watching them gain their independence. I love watching them learn. I love that they can do so much on their own now. They are wonderful kids and while they fight like cats and dogs and they do get on my nerves I wouldn't trade them for anything. I love my children and am thankful for them each and every day.

You have every right to be so thankful for those beautiful children. They are truly a joy to those that know and love them.You too, are a joy to your parents. You are such a choice daughter and we are so very thankful for you. Your thankful list helps me reflect on those things that I have been blessed with. Thank you for reminding me to be thankful.
