Frickin' Fed -Ex

My camera has been sitting in Salt Lake since Friday morning. It got there at 4:30 AM yet it wasn't put on a truck. Now it isn't going to be delivered until tomorrow. Why? Because there is flooding in Tennessee. WTH? I am very impatient. Can you tell?

Did you get a new camera? Or just getting your other camera serviced?

I live in Nashville and the flooding here is not a joke. We woke up Monday and couldn't believe how fast the Cumberland River had rose and took over the city. Tennessee is facing so much cleanup in the months ahead and the lost of homes, businesses, and not to mention memories that are lost to the flooding is unspeakable.

That sucks!!!

DScrapbookMom, she didn't say anything about it being a joke. Good grief. But what does flooding in TN have to do with a camera getting on a truck in SLC UTAH?

I hope you get it soon!

I want to clarify that I was in no way making light of the flooding in TN.

I am so sorry if it came off that way. Looking back I can see how the post seems very insensitive. Again I'm sorry.

I just wanted my birthday present and couldn't figure out how my camera made it from New Jersey to Salt Lake City in four days. Then it sat in Salt Lake for five days. Salt Lake is 30-40 *minutes* from my house. Fed Ex said the reason for the delay was the floods in TN. To me something wasn't adding up. I think someone misplaced my package for a while.

Again, I was in no way saying that I didn't think the floods were serious. I hope this clears up any confusion. Please accept my apologies.
