Cosmo's Easter Egg Hunt

This year BYU decided to invite a bunch of people on their email list to their first annual Easter egg hunt. It was an attempt to get us to go to the baseball and softball games after. We decided to go check it out since it said fun for all ages and most hunts exclude kids as big as ours. Plus they said that they were going include football tickets in some of the eggs. We were so there. We wanted tickets!

We didn't know if they were going to hide the goods in the stands or on the field. As you can see it was on the field. It was a bit silly but nice of them nonetheless. I'm guessing that they had more people than they expected. When you say free in Utah you should always expect MAJOR CROWDS. We'd guess there were over 5,000 people there. It was a tad nuts.

Once they got everyone in the stands they divided it up by 0-3 years and 4 & up. Once we were on the right end of the field we had to wait until they said go.

Waiting...

Go! Once they let the kids go it was like a giant vacuum went over the lawn.

It was all over pretty quickly. We didn't get anything good like tickets but they got some candy, football cards, little bitty basketballs, a foam finger, pom pom hair band, key chain and a bunch of posters.

All in all it was worth checking out but I'm thinking that next year they will have age limits and we may be excluded. Boo. I'm glad we got to do it once!
