That Thursday she went to her first practice. It lasted over two hours. I figured she would be done right then and there. Nope. She loved it! Her first game was Saturday the 15th at 8:00 am. Yuck. It's the only day we have to sleep in and we had to be somewhere at 8:00 am? How rude!
It was so fun! We loved watching these girls. It wasn't always pretty but they did well enough to win!

The coach of our team is a professional racquetball player. I wasn't sure how competitive she would be as a coach. If she was out for to win everything I was afraid that Emma would never get to play since she has zero experience. Kristen was awesome though and let all the girls have equal playing time. She's been really wonderful with these girls. Emma is totally loving basketball.
