Lightning!

We had a sweet lightning and thunderstorm roll over us tonight. There were times where it was right over us! I couldn't resist trying to get some shots. I've always wanted to get a picture of lightning and this was going to be my best chance. The lightning was super close and it was getting dark. Perfect! I posted on Facebook that I felt like I was on a treasure hunt. I never knew for sure what I was going to get until I saw the image come up on the viewer. It was so fun. I would have stayed out all night but the storm was heading south and there wasn't much left for me. It does sound like another round it starting but I am done for tonight.
